About the Photographers:
Phyllis Ensley,
owner/ photographer, has been taking show dog pictures for over 5 years.
She was one of the first photographers to introduce digital photography
to the dog show world. Providing an on the spot service, allowed her to
meet the needs of her customers. As time has pasted, she has fine tuned
her artistic skills to produce some of the most beautiful and elegant
portraits available. These portraits will meet or bet anyone's
expectations, she guarantees it. Many people believes that she can
create miracles in the studio as well as on the computer.
She believes in taking care of the dogs and
their people. Her goal is to make sure that both the owner and the dog
goes away feeling good about the whole experience. Patience is her God
given gift.
Jeannine Craddock
started out helping and working in the booth. It did not take long for
us to recognize her artistic eye. We have started putting her to work
shooting agility and portraits. She is available for on site shoots as
well as groom shops and pet stores. You are welcome to email with any
questions.
About the business:
The business came to be by the request of our customers. Prior to
being a photographer, Phyllis set up a booth at an agility trial, making t-shirts
with the customer's own pet's picture on it. She was using a one mega pixel camera
and was setting the dogs up on a bed sheet as a backdrop. People loved
her work but they wanted more than t-shirts, they wanted photographs!
After having 20 or more people request the photos, she decided that
maybe she could become a photographer. Taking all the money that she had,
she went out and purchased a professional camera and the business has
been growing ever sense. It was a huge risk, but thanks to our loyal
customers, it has paid off.
Phyllis: "Thank you to all the people who
gave me the confidence to go out and take on this challenge."
About the dogs:
I truly love dogs. The business was started
because I did not want to go to work for someone and have to leave my
pups at home. They now go everywhere with me. You will see the somewhere
in my booth.
I know that most dogs do not understand why we
have then in a booth with all the lights and things, plus they do not
understand why we have the sit on a table. It can be very intimidating
for both the dogs and their people. The pressure is on under the lights.
I understand this and try to relax the dog as well as the owner. I will
take extra time if needed to ensure that the dog is relaxed and ok with
the whole experience. By doing this, I believe that I can capture the
true personality of the dog, producing the perfect portrait that you
came for.
About the Lord:
God has given me a gift and I have truly been blessed. He has guided me
and watched over me the whole way. So often we forget to thank him and
recognize that without him, we are no one! I want the world to know that
he is my Lord and Savior.
